Through its Electronic Solutions Development Department Sitech worked on innovating the Electronic Propulsion System EPPS, which works parallel to Phenix system to afford general management, higher reliability, better security, lower cash at employees’ hands, being acknowledged at all times of establishment’s work.

EPPS system stands out in its two-way workability:

First way: central management, where all circuits, sensors, and collectors are connected to the main network server.

Second way: here circuits and collectors work independently so there is no need to have any connection between any part and the other.

The system comprises of a number of parts:

First Part – the Management Program:
The Program has all the capabilities of Phenix Program for Accounting & Warehouses in addition to special services that support EPPS System including special interfaces to identify cards and put customer information in them, in addition to charging the card with certain money values.
The program also offers all reports needed to monitor money cards and their financial movements within the establishment.

Second Part – EPPS Circuits:
The system works depending on wireless smart card technology, where our circuits verify the authenticity of the card and customer’s credit, then they give a certain order and draw a certain amount from the card…
The circuits are modifiable to meet establishment requirements. For example a circuit can open a gateway, run a machine, or send a certain order to an LED screen…

Technical specifications:

1. Showing subscriber info on LCD screen
2. Emitting sound alarms when there is no credit or on sending an order..
3. The possibility to specify different sums for each kind of subscribers
4. Since the credit value is stored in the card there is the possibility to coordinate with other systems and write notes in the card from another system (supermarket offers for example).

6. The device is self sufficient (stand alone system) working without the need to connect it to a computer.
7. A computer program that controls all capabilities of a device like (deducted amount, deduction method, on-screen text in all cases…).

Third Part – Smart Cards:

Advanced capabilities:

This technology enables the investor to store complete customer info inside the memory of a smart card, in addition to keeping a customer’s credit value with the possibility to lessen or raise credit in the card at any time, and it works in all places, sale points, or shops specified for this investor without the need for a special database for customers and their credits…

Ease of use:

It’s enough to pass the card 3 cm above the reader even if the reader was under a solid barrier (wooden table, glass, plastic…) and the reading or writing operation will be done in less than 2 seconds…

Since the smart card is wireless it enjoys long life compared to regular smart cards that contain contact points, in addition it provides high reliability since it has an internal processor that does not send info before it’s entered the special code set by the investor…

Epps system in game galleries:
The Epps system was applied in order to solve the many technical and managerial problems in game galleries, and the coins system was substituted for the cards system through electronic collectors supported by EPPS circuits.
An electronic collector is connected to each game machine and programmed fro a certain money value for each customer category, and each game machine can be programmed to deduct a certain value.
Cards are charged by the responsible clerk at a certain value, and by passing this card in front of the electronic collector this will deduct a certain value and issue a run command.
